DIY Seaglass Necklace!

In today's video, I show you how to take your beautiful beach treasures and turn them into a beautiful accessory!

The video: http://youtu.be/laASY7Zqzqo

My dad actually lived on a beach for about 3-4 and we would take weekly, if not daily walks down the shoreline, picking up little trinkets and souvenirs along the way. The result? Jars upon jars of seaglass!!

I needed to find a way to use some of the gorgeous 'trash' instead of just letting it sit around my house. After sitting on the internet for a little while, the seaglass necklace was born!!

The materials:
  • Your choice of seaglass
  • Various pliers
  • 20 gauge wire
  • Bamboo Cord (you can use whatever you want to make the necklace part)
  • Jump rings
  • Clasps
Watch the video to find out how to make it!

QUESTION: Would any of you be interested in buying one of these necklaces? (For a very low price of course). I have so much seaglass and lots of time and would love to share this accessory with you! Let me know!

XO

(While the seaglass I used in the tutorial is store bought, REAL seaglass is the way to go. I just happened to have a bowl of fake glass in my house at the time of filming this tutorial :)
